Welcome.

This is what can happen when you retire - if you're either very lucky or getting close to insanity.

Have a look at what we're doing and get in touch if you think you can help!!

It may be that you'll put your retirement on hold, or you can be like us and just dive in!!

Enjoy.....

It's pretty good really, once everyone else gets used to the idea that you haven't got 24 hours a day to spend servicing them. When that happens (wish) you may have the time to enjoy what you retired for.

Photography has come out on top of Steve's hobbies - the music comes and goes but it's usually just for a bit of chilling' in the study, rather than making CD's. It'll come back again when there's time - don't dismiss anyone that tells you there aren't enough hours in the day. It's a fact of life. There are a few new bits in Steve's Gallery if you're up for it and some music to dull the senses while you browse.

Viv's getting back into her sewing and knitting. She's involved in web based groups as well as producing rompers and sailor suits. What a lass!!

The house extension has finally got there and we've moved in!! It's been a bit traumatic at times and there's not been much time for hobbies for the last few weeks, but now it's all been worth it. Obviously there's a lot of sorting out to do and a lot of rearranging in the house (with associated jobs) but we've got an excellent space for our playthings.

The garden's looking good with lots of autumn colours. Steve needs to get his act together to get things ready for the winter. The borders outside the extension have been sorted: the hedge has been repaired and a few shrubs have been planted - plus 190 bulbs (don't ask about the back!!). The patio area and steps to the rear of the extension look really good, and the flower beds should look good next spring.

Watch this space - we may start to get things organised (there's another pink one flying past!!) and maybe one of these days there'll be another CD or another work of art from Viv.

Things are really very good and getting better (and we've found some very interesting wines). So whatever you do......

Keep smiling
