Photography is what takes up most of my spare time. There's always something new to play with and new ideas to try out. I'm a member of Kirkbymoorside Camera Club and join in with the advanced digital, monochrome and creative groups. It keeps me out of mischief and I get a lot from them . I'd recommend the club to anyone with an interest in photography - It's got something for everyone at all levels. Have a look at the site on: www.kirkbymoorside-camera-club.co.uk  I've had a good year this time, winning the creative competition with 'Reflections on Wet Sand' and three categories in the projected images. Two entries were accepted in the Wath Salon -  'Tangles In The Groynes' and 'Blacksmith's Needle' I also won The SPA News competition with 'HebeBeeGee' They're all in the gallery. The SPA News competition prize let me upgrade to a Nikon D200 - thanks Uncle Joe. We've got some pieces on display at the summer exhibition at 'The Courtyard Gallery' in Malton, which runs from June until September. If you can afford it, why not buy one or two, just for the hell of it!!
I'm also doing a Creative Digital Imagery course with OCA on line, which I'm really enjoying (when I can fit it in!!)

Music comes and goes, but I still try to keep my hand in. The CD's are good if you need something quiet to listen to (you can always turn the sound down). Try the MP3 player on the music page (You can always stop it if it hurts too much) or offer me a recording contract if you like - I do like a good laugh. I'll update the tracks one of these days (when there's time!!)
