I've now got my bus pass - quite a milestone. Now I really am an old fart!!

Photography is what takes up most of my spare time. There's always something new to play with and new ideas to try out.

I finished the OCA Creative Digital Imaging course, but that's as far as I'm taking it. It was useful to see what was on offer and to do a bit of studying, but I don't think I learned a great deal from it.There are many other ways of learning and I'm afraid the OCA can't compete.

I'm now in the Photographic Society of America, which seems very good.  I've completed a photography course with them and I'll be doing the advanced course this year.  I'm a member of a Projected Image Discussion Group and I'm also an administrator for a creative Digital Image Study Group. If you're interested its on the PSA Site under Divisions > EID > Resources > Study Groups and we're group 34. The groups give constructive appraisal of images, without the judging, which I think is a much healthier way of learning.

Music comes and goes, but I still try to keep my hand in. The CD's are good if you need something quiet to listen to (you can always turn the sound down). Try the MP3 player on the music page (You can always stop it if it hurts too much) or offer me a recording contract if you like - I do like a good laugh. I'll update the tracks one of these days (when there's time!!)
