I've now got my bus pass - quite a milestone. Now I really am an old fart!!

Photography is what takes up most of my spare time. There's always something new to play with and new ideas to try out.

I've started a BA in Photography with the OCA. Now that they're doing a proper Photography degree instead of the 'Creative Arts' the courses are much more what I was looking for, so here we go again. Hopefully in 20 years or so I'll know how to take photographs properly!.

I'm now in the Photographic Society of America, which seems very good.  I've completed an individual photography course with them and completed two of the advanced courses.  I'm a member of two Projected Image Discussion Groups (Creative and HDR) and I'm also an administrator for a creative Digital Image Study Group. If you're interested its on the PSA Site under Divisions > EID > Resources > Study Groups and we're group 34. The groups give constructive appraisal of images, without the judging, which I think is a much healthier way of learning. I've been getting acceptances into international exhibitions and generally doing OK by them - I've recently got my first star rating for EID exhibitions.

I've added a few more images to the gallery (not before time) if you're interested.

Music comes and goes, but I still try to keep my hand in. The CD's are good if you need something quiet to listen to (you can always turn the sound down). Try the MP3 player on the music page (You can always stop it if it hurts too much) or offer me a recording contract if you like - I do like a good laugh. I'll update the tracks one of these days (when there's time!!)
